Dr Gillian Little
Gillian was based at the School of Psychology Sciences, The University of Strathclyde and was jointly supervised by Dr Lizann Bonnar, Dr Steven Kelly and Dr Thusha Rajendran.
Gillian's work on eye gaze contingency -- using a virtual character -- continued and extended the work from ECHOES [virtual characters for children with ASD], but using real-time interaction, in which the children could initiate or respond to joint attention. This work is influencing gaze direction research in social robotics.
