The UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Node in Trust is a collaboration lead by Prof Helen Hastie (Computer Science, Heriot-Watt University), Prof Angelo Cangelosi (Computer Science, University of Manchester) and Prof Yiannis Demiris (Engineering, Imperial College) and Prof Thusha Rajendran. Dr Peter Mckenna is one of the post docs.
The Node Team is part of Node and TAS Hub structure; including the Verifiability Node.
The Trust Node is focussed with creating a Cognitive Architecture for Trust though Robot Human interaction. Specially, investigating how Trust is build, damaged and repaired over time. Here, we use theory of mind to help frame how trust can be understood as a 'meeting of minds'.
