Isabel started her PhD this September at Heriot-Watt. Before, she did her Bachelor’s in Psychology at University of Twente (Netherlands), as well as her Master’s in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University (Netherlands). During her research internship at the at UCLouvain (Belgium), she focused her thesis on contextual modulation in face processing.

During her PhD, she will be working with Louise Delicato and Thusha Rajendran on disentangling the contribution of face recognition abilities on the ability to differentiate facial emotion expressions.
